Ingredients:  
Put 1 quart flour in pan
Salt to taste
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon

Beat together:
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Raisin Filling:
1 pkg. raisins
1 cup sugar
Rind and juice of 1 orange and 1/2 lemon (grind)
1 cup nuts
Thicken with cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Add flour alternately with 1 cup milk. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Roll out on a floured surface and cut with cookie cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Place a teaspoon of filling in center of each cookie and cover with another cookie. Seal edges well. Bake at 375º for about 11 minutes.
