1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
4 medium apples chopped

topping
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped nuts - mix together
add to
2 T melted butter
Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients and add shortening and milk. Add egg and vanilla. Then add chopped apples. Pour int greased 8.5 x 11 inch pan. Sprinkle topping over cake. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
