Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
1 lb. Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage
1 cup Instant Rice
1 cup Onion, chopped
2-3 tbsp. Garlic Pepper Salt
1 qt. Tomato or Vegetable Juice
1 head Green Cabbage

Directions:
Directions:
Cut deep slits in the bottom of the head of cabbage, close to the core. Place in large steamer or stockpot with a small amount of water to slightly steam the leaves. Mix the Beef, Sausage, Onion, Rice and Garlic Pepper salt together in a large mixing bowl. Pour about 1/2 cup of tomato or vegetable juice into the crock-pot or pot that you will be cooking the rolls in. Peel one cabbage leaf off of the head and trim the spine off. Take a small handful of the meat & rice mixture to form a log. Place it at the core end of the leaf, then roll the leaf around the meat, folding the sides in as you go. Place the roll in the cooking pot. I alternate direction on the layers. Once you have rolled up all of the meat mixture, cut the remaining cabbage into strips and lay on top of the rolls. Pour the remaining juice all over the top of the cabbage. You may want to add garlic pepper salt or other seasoning to the tomato juice. Cook until meat mixture is done.
NOTE: I look for a cabbage head that is more flat than round, this usually means bigger leaves.
