Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
In a large bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in apricots and pecans.
In a medium bowl, combine thoroughly 2/3 cup milk and eggs. Pour all at once into dry ingredients and combine just until moistened.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead about 10 times or until dough comes together and is smooth. Transfer to prepared baking sheet, pat out into a 9-inch round. Cut dough into 8 wedges, but do not separate them.
Brush 1 T milk over scones for glaze; sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Separate scones and serve warm with butter. Also good cold!

Personal Notes:
Both of my boys grew up learning how to cook and bake (survival skills!) My youngest introduced me to scones. Since then, I have tried many scone recipes and this is a definite favorite.
