Ingredients:	Ingredients: Cake: 2 eggs 4 c. finely chopped, peeled apples 2. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. vegetable oil 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Caramel Sauce: 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 c. half-and-half

Directions:	Directions: For the cake, beat the eggs in a large mixing bowl. Add the apples and mix well. Stir in the sugar. Add the cinnamon, oil, flour, baking soda and salt and mix well. The batter will be thick. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and half-and-half. Bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar, stirring occasionally. Serve warm over the cake.
