1 c. nuts
1 box raisins
1 c. butter
3 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 c. hot applesauce
4-1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add spices and eggs (yolks and whites, beaten separately). Add raisins and nuts. Sift together soda and flour, then add. Hot applesauce should be added last. Bake at 275º about 2 hours.
