1-cup sugar
4 T. melted butter
1-cup milk
2-cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2-cups whole cranberries, uncooked

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and butter, add milk, flour and baking powder. Last stir in cranberries.
Bake in greased 9"x9" pan, 45 minutes at 375.
Sauce:
1/3 cup butter
1-cup sugar
3/4 cup cream
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice or extract
1 tsp. vanilla
Cook butter and sugar one minute. Add cream and cook one minute more. Add lemon juice or extract. To serve, cut into individual serving pieces, place on serving dish and spoon warm sauce on cooled cake.

For a 9x13 cake, double ingredients. Bake at 400 for 1-hour.

This is a recipe I received from a friend. She served this wonderful dessert at her Christmas Open House party and I just had to have the recipe. It is a very good, rich dessert. I think you will like it!
