Personal Notes:
This recipe is in a book I have called "Recipes of the Past." My mother made lefse often. The top of the cookstove would really get polished and the lefse circles were browned on it.. We had Rosettes at Christmas,. She was also good at making doughnuts, ,peanut butter cookies, pies, oatmeal cookies, dumplings for our soup . She made noodles also.. The dough was rolled thin ,rolled up in a roll, sliced, and then unrolled and hung over pans to dry. So simple now to just buy a pkg-we have it so easy!
