3 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. cocoa
1 stick of butter (half a c.)
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 cups old fashion rolled oats
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium size sauce pan, mix sugar & cocoa.
Stir in milk, then add butter. Cook over medium heat until it begins to boil. Boil 1 full minute. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter until melted then add rolled oats and vanilla, mix thoroughly. Drop by the spoonful on to wax paper.. refrigerate.

All of my kids, and I suppose most other's children loved to make these and eat them. Too sweet for me!
