4 tbsp butter
1 c. fresh bread crumbs
1 tbsp fresh garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
3 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
2 doz. fresh oysters, shucked (reserve bottom shells)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º F. Wash & scrub shells.
Melt 2 tbsp butter in heavy skillet over med. high heat. Once foam subsides add bread crumbs & garlic. Toss 2 - 3 min. until crispy golden. Stir in parsley & cheese. Place oysters on half shells. Place in shallow baking pan. Sprinkle crumb mixture on oysters. Dot each with remaining butter. Bake on top third section of oven 12 - 15 min. until crumbs are golden & juices bubble in pan. Serve immediately.
