3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
garlic clove
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 lb skirt steak

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk syrup, juice, mustard, and a minced garlic clove in a small saucepan. Season 1 pound skirt steak with salt and pepper and set aside. Heat a lightly oiled grill pan or heavy frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook steak to desired doneness, about 3 minutes per side for medium - rare. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest 5 minutes. Meanwhile, bring maple-lemon mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Let simmer 1 minutes. Cut steak into thin slices across the grain and drizzle with sauce.
