6 T. olive oil
2 T. lemon juice
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 (or more) garlic clove, finely minced
2 T. sweet pickles, minced
1 T. onion, minced
2 T. green pepper, minced
1 T. capers, chopped
1 T. parsley, chopped
2 lbs. fresh asparagus, trimmed, washed, cooked, and chilled
Boston lettuce leaves

Combine the oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic, pickles, onion, green pepper, capers and parsley. Mix well and chill. Arrange the asparagus spears on the lettuce leaves and pour chilled dressing over all.
