2/3 C. butter, margarine, or shortening
2/3 C. cocoa
2 C. granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 C. flour (scant)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 C. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and add cocoa. Mix well. Add sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and nuts. Mix together thoroughly. Put in a greased & floured 9 x 13" pan and bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

You can half this recipe and put in 8" pan.
