2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
Zest of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper
1 (8 oz) pkg, cream cheese, chilled
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp (1 slice) deli ham or chicken, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Mix basil, zest & pepper. Press cheese block in mixture to coat all sides. Cut cheese in 1/2 horizontally. Place 1/2 of the block on serving dish herb side down. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Top with ham or chicken. Place other 1/2 of cheese block on top with herb side up. Press together gently. Serve at room temp. with crackers.
