1 ½ cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. sugar
3 eggs (separated)
¾ cup sour cream
¾ cup buttermilk (or slightly more)
¼ cup shortening, melted
¼ cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks, sour cream and buttermilk.
Add dry ingredients, alternating with liquids.
Cool to room temperature.
Stir until lump-free.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Cook on a waffle iron sprayed with cooking spray.
