20 jalapeño peppers
2 pkg cream cheese
2-3 lbs. bacon, cut into halves
Directions:

Cut jalapeños in half, length wise. Remove membranes & seeds with a spoon (you may want to wear rubber or latex gloves when doing this). Stuff each half with cream cheese and wrap with a half piece of bacon, hold together with a tooth pick. Preheat oven to 450º. Place foil on a cookie sheet. Place peppers open side down on foil, bake until bacon starts to get crispy on top, then turn peppers over, continue baking until bacon is crispy all over. Or you can cook these on a outdoor grill, make a 12"x16" foil boat & place on your grill over medium-high heat. (we prefer cooking them on the grill)

These have amazing flavor. With the membranes & seeds removed typically the jalapeños are not hot, however on occasion you may get a very spicy surprise. We like to prepare these as an appetizer at our cookouts.
