2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
3/4 cup cold milk
1/2 stick cold butter
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 heaping cup of shredded cheddar cheese

**Topping:
2 T. melted butter
1/4 t. dried parsley
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
small pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 400º. Combine Bisquick with cold butter in a bowl with a large fork. Don't mix too much. There should be pea-size chunks of butter remaining. Add cheddar cheese, milk, and 1/4 tsp. garlic. Mix by hand until combined, but don't overmix. Drop approximately 1/4 cup portions of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet (make 12 biscuits). Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to lightly brown. Mix the topping ingredients together in a small bowl. When the biscuits are done, brush the tops with the topping mixture.
