2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 lb rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces (4 cups)
1 tbsp water
2 tbsp butter

Biscuits:
1 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp shredded orange peel

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. For rhubarb sauce, combine the sugar (use 3/4 to 1 cup sugar, depending on the tartness of the rhubarb), the cornstarch and the cinnamon. Add rhubarb and water. Cook and stir until mixture is boiling; cook 1 minute more. Pour into 8-inch round baking dish; dot with the 2 tablespoons butter. Place in hot oven while preparing biscuits. Sift together flour, the 1/3 cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in the 4 tablespoons butter. Stir in milk, pecans and orange peel. Push from spoon in dollops atop hot rhubarb mixture. Bake in hot oven about 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
