2 1/2 c. Sugar (1/2 brown & 1/2 white)
2 Eggs (beaten)
2 c. Lard
1 1/2 c. Milk
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon (optional)
2 T. Vanilla
7 1/2 c. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together lard and both sugars. Add eggs & milk. Mix well. Stir together dry ingredients & add. Dough will be thick and sticky. Cover tightly and refrigerate several hours or several days.

Roll out on floured board. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400º for 5-10 minutes. Take out of oven before they are completely done.
