1 Stick of Butter
2 Packs of Ritz Crackers (crushed)
1 Small Can of Peas (drained)
1 Can Asparagus Pieces (drained)
2/3 c. Whipping Cream
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 Cups Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
Fresh Ground Black Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter bottom and sides of a 9 X 13 casserole dish. Line dish with 1/2 pack of cracker crumbs. Layer peas, asparagus, cheese and 1/2 pack of cracker crumbs. Mix whipping cream and cream of mushroom soup together. Pepper mixture to taste. Pour over casserole. Top with remaining cracker crumbs. Dot with butter to taste. Bake for 20 minutes.
