1 qt. sweet cider 12 whole cloves
1/4 c. sugar 8 whole allspice
8 short cinnamon sticks Pinch of salt

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and heat to boilings. Let stand several hours. Reheat and strain. Serve hot or cold.
