2 T. butter
1/4 cup ritz cracker crumbs
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup water
1/2 t. salt
1 pound yellow squash, sliced
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
2 T. melted butter
1 1/2 t. sugar
1/4 - 1/2 t. minced onion

Directions:
Directions:
In 1 quart casserole microwave butter for 1 minute. Add cracker crumbs and pecans and cook for 2 minutes. Set mixture aside on waxed paper.

Put squash in microwave safe bowl and cook for 8 -10 minutes covered, drain.

Mix mayonnaise, egg, shredded cheddar, melted butter, sugar, and onion in a bowl. Pour over squash and mix well. Microwave for 4 minutes. Stir and add crumb topping. Microwave 2 - 4 minutes.

Let stand 5 minutes and serve.
