Lime Pear Salad Recipe

1 small pkg. lime jello
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
15.25 oz. can pears
2 c. Cool Whip
1/2 c. nuts, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Drain pears, saving pear juice. Heat 1 3/4 c. pear juice to boiling. (I usually have to add water to measure 1 3/4 cups.) Pour over jello, and stir until dissolved. Add softened cream cheese and beat. When cool, add Cool Whip. Dice pears and add to mixture. Sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate until set, approximately three hours.
