1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. warm water with 1 tsp baking soda
3 c. flour
chocolate chips and chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the brown sugar and the butter. Add the eggs one at a time. Add the dry ingredients alternating with the water/soda mixture. Add the vanilla, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Place on cooling rack, pour a cup of coffee or a glass of milk and eat!
