1 tbsp dry yeast
1 c. lukewarm water.
1 c. milk, scalded & cooled
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
6 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. raisins (floured)
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp lemon extract
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º F.
Dissolve yeast in water with 1 tsp sugar. Cream together butter & sugar. Add yeast. & 2 c. flour. Beat until smooth. Let rise in warm place until light. Add remaining ingredients.. Knead lightly. Place in greased bowl. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Shape into loves. Let rise until doubled. Bake 50 - 60 min.
