Chicken (about 8-10 pieces)
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
At least 2 inches of oil in pan

This recipe can be made in a large or small batch.
1.Remove skin from chicken.
2. Dip parts in beaten egg and then flour/garlic mix.
3. Pan fry in 350º oil (2 inches of oil in pan)
4. Fry 30 min. on each side. Do not over crowd.
5. Place in baking dish in oven to keep warm, or follow personal notes.

This is the best fried chicken we have ever had. It tastes just like my mom's when we were home on the farm.
In order to ovoid extra frying, you may fry the chicken 8 min. on a side and place on a grate over a cookie sheet in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Chicken will be crispy and not greasy.
