4 tsp margarine
1 cup onion, chopped,
2 cloves garlic, chopped,
1/2 cup carrot's, chopped,
1/4 cup celery, chopped,
4 cans stewed Cajun style tomatoes,
6 cups chicken broth,
1 oz uncooked rice,
2 T tomato paste,
1 T Worcestershire sauce,
1/2 tsp black pepper,
1/2 tsp dried thyme

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 5 ingredients, stirring often till carrots and celery are tender. DO NOT BROWN
Add rest of ingredients and cook on low about 30 minutes. Stirring often. COOL and puree in food processor in batches; reheat and serve.

I double this for a crowd. Serve in cups or bowls. Del Monte has Cajun style stewed canned tomatoes.There may be other brands, I don't know about.
