2 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Salt

3/4 C. Shortening
1 C. Water
3 tbsp. Cocoa
1/2 C. Sour Milk
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla

Ingredients for topping:
1 Stick of Margarine
3 tblsp. Cocoa
1/3 C. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 box of Powdered Sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º
In a large bowl Mix together the flour, sugar, and salt. Set aside.

Bring to a boil the margarine, water, and cocoa.
pour over the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

Then add the sour milk, eggs, soda, and vanilla.
Mix well.

Pour the batter into a lightly greased jelly roll pan. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.

When 10 minutes have passed mix the stick of margarine, cocoa, milk and vanilla in a pan until the margarine melts. Then add the box of powdered sugar.

Take the cake from the oven at end of baking time. Punch holes in the cake with a toothpick and pour this frosting on the cake while it is still hot.
