1 8 oz. American cheese slices
4 tblsp. melted butter
4 cups rye bread cubes
4 cups sliced zucchini
1 onion sliced and cubed
3 tomatoes sliced and cubed
1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cut cheese into 3 equal portions. Pour melted butter over rye bread cubes and mix. Grease 1 1/2 qt. casserole, place layers of zucchini, onion, tomato, green pepper, cheese, & bread cubes. Sprinkle with salt & pepper and top with remaining bread cubes. Cover and bake for 1 hour on 350 or until vegetables are done.
