Six Idaho potatoes peeled and cut into medium cubes.
4 eggs.
2 heaping Tbls. Dill Relish.
Sprinkle of dry Dillweed.
Yellow Mustard to taste (a couple of squirts).
1 cup or more of Mayonnaise (I always use Blue Plate).
two green onions chopped.

Boil potatoes and eggs in salted water (in the same pot) until potatoes are just tender. Drain and remove eggs to a bowl of cold water to cool. Put potatoes in large bowl and slice with a sharp knife all through the potatoes. Add dill relish, mustard, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and stir. Add chopped eggs and more mayo as needed. Add dry dillweed and chopped green onions and mix well. Check for seasonings and salt and pepper to taste.

Be sure to slash the potatoes with your knife while they are still warm. This makes for a creamier potato salad.
