3 cups sifted flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2/3 cup melted butter
2 cups milk
4 eggs, separated

Directions:
When using electric mixer, beat egg yolks 1 minute using No. 8 speed, add the milk and beat for 1 minute longer. Add the sifted dry ingredients to this mixture at No. 4 speed, increase to no 8 and beat for 1 minute longer. Add the melted butter and beat for 15 seconds at No. 8 or until the mixture is thoroughly blended. Fold in stiffly beaten egg white at No 1 speed.

It takes about 1 1/2 cups of batter to fill grid. Follow directions for your individual waffle iron.
