5 lbs. flour
5 c. sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. plus a handful of Crisco shortening
20 large eggs
5 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, and baking powders together, and add crisco. Work all the crisco into the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl break 20 eggs (yolks and whites) and add the vanilla. Beat well!
Make a well in center of the flour mixture and pour the beaten eggs and vanilla mixture in. Mixing the flour mixture gradually, but mixing well. Mixture will be sticky, (mix small amount of flour into mixture until mixture does not stick to hands). Flour table and roll out in handfuls at a time with a rolling pin until 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters or put dough through a star attachment of a meat grinder. Make about 2 inches long.
Bake at 350 degree oven for about 10-12 minuttes until bottom of cookie is starting to brown. Check cookies at 10 minutes. Cookies will be soft when first removed but will harden as they cool.
