3/4 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 Cup Buttermilk
3 Mashed Bananas
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans (Optional)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar together.
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.
Add baking soda to milk. Combine sugar/butter mixture with egg yolks and buttermilk/baking soda.
Add bananas, flour, salt, vanilla, and pecans if desired.
Beat egg whites and fold into mixture.
Put mixture into loaf pan.
Bake at 325º until cake leaves pan.
