2 oz. instant coffee
4 cups sugar
2 cups boiling water
1 pint bourbon or brandy
1 whole vanilla bean

Directions:
Directions:
Combine coffee, sugar and boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Add liquor and pour into gallon jar. Add vanilla bean and close tightly. Let sit one month, shaking occasionally.

Pour into pretty jars or decanters and give as gifts,
or pour over vanilla ice cream if you don't want to give it away!!!
