1 rib thinly sliced celery
1 small chopped onion
3 T. butter
2 (14 oz.) cans cream style corn
2 cans cream of potato soup
2 cups milk
1 can evaporated milk
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce (more if you like)
3 (6 oz) cans fancy white crab meat - drained

Saute celery and onion in butter. Add next nine ingredients. Mix well. Stir in crab. Heat through. Discard bay leaves.
