1 1/2 Tbs. yeast
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
3/4 cup milk
3 cups flour
3 eggs (beaten)
1 cup melted butter
2 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast and 1 tsp. sugar in water. Combine 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar, salt and scalded milk. Stir until butter is melted. Add 2 cups flour, beat until smooth. Beat in eggs. Add remaining flour gradually to make soft dough. Knead on a slightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size. (About 1 hour) Divide dough into four equal parts. Shape each fourth on a lightly floured surface into a 8 X12" roll. Cut into 12 pieces. Shape each piece into a 7-inch rope. Dip in melted butter and sugar mixture, then into chopped nuts. Twist into a braid. Place on cookie sheet. Let rise. Bake at 350 º for 15 minutes.
