1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups shortening
6 cups rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar's, flour, salt, baking soda and powder together well. Cut in shortening. Add rolled oats. Mix well. Store in 1 gallon container in a cool place.

To make cookies:
Mix together 4 cups oatmeal master mix with 2 beaten eggs and 2 tsp. vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.

Bake 350º about 12 minutes.

- Add chopped nuts, rasins, coconut, chocolate chips or sunflower seeds.
- Add 1 tsp. cinnamon to egg mixture.
