1 1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
2 tbsp melted butter
3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp sugar
(divided)
32 caramels chopped
3 tbsp milk
3 pkgs cream cheese
3 eggs
1 pkg semi sweet chocolate, melted & cooled
1/2 cup toasted pecan halves

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Combine chopped pecans, butter & 2 tbsp sugar.
Press firmly on bottom of pan. Microwave caramels & milk on medium for 4-5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Spread over crust 1 inch from edge.
Beat cream cheese & 3/4 cup of sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time mixing on low until blended. Stir in melted chocolate & pour over cooled caramel .
Bake 45-50 min until center is almost set. Run knife around edge & cool for 1 hr is fridge, approx 3 hrs. Sprinkle with pecan halves.
