1 1/2 lbs sirloin beef tips or stewing beef
2 tabs butter
1 tab oil
3 cups sliced mushrooms
1 garlic clove minced
1/4 cup beef broth
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
11/2 tsp soy sauce
1 tab Dijon mustard
2 tsp.corn starch
1/2 cup whipping cream
Broad egg noodles or wild rice
Fresh parsley

Brown beef in butter and oil. Transfer to a large baking dish or small roasting pan.
In the same skillet sauté mushrooms and garlic until tender.about 3 minutes,
pour mushrooms over the meat. Cover and bake for 2 hours at 300. Stir a couple of times

In the same skillet combine beef broth, vinegar and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 min.
In a small bowl combine mustard, corn starch, and cream. Stir slowly into broth mixture and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 2 minutes continuing to stir.

Whe meat is done, drain juices and put into broth mixture.
can be made in advance up to this point.

At serving time, cook sauce mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.
Add beef, stir until heated through .
Serve over egg noodles or wild rice. I like the rice. Garnish with parsley.
