sugar for sprinkling

make a batter using flour, yeast, water. The dough should not be as hard as pizza dough but more dense than pancake batter.

beat the batter with your hands to make it smooth and elastic.

Let the batter rise to double in a warm dry place.

In a deep skillet, warm oil and start putting pieces of batter formed stretched out and made a hole in the middle to resemble a donut.

Fry a few at a time until golden, take them out and sprikle sugar on both sides. Set aside.
