10 c. Walla Walla onions, thinly sliced
2 cans cream of mushroom or chicken
soup
1 c. milk
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
3 c. Swiss cheese
10-12 thick slices of sweet French
bread
freshly grated parmesan cheese
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion slices in butter until transparent. Transfer to a 9x13 oiled pan. Mix soup with milk and Worcestershire sauce; mix into onions. Sprinkle Swiss cheese over all. Press bread (buttered on both sides) down into onion mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
