1 large head cabbage chopped
1 large onion chopped fine
1 large green pepper chopped
1 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
3/4 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 teaspoon dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Layer the vegetables in a glass bowl
Pour sugar over the top
Boil the vinegar, oil and spices and pour over top
DON"T STIR
Refrigerate 12 hours

Growing up, this was on the menu every other week on Tuesdays. Mom (Patty Drake) was a good cook but stuck to her favorites!
