Sauce:
1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlice
1 tbsp basil
2 c tomatoes
1 tbsp parsley
1 1/2 tsp salt
12 oz tomatoe paste

Cheese mixture:
3 c large curd cottage cheese
2 beaten eggs
10 oz. spinach, thawed and drained
2 tbsp parsley
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c parma cheese

1 lb mozzarella cheese thinly sliced (or 12 oz shredded)

12 lasagna noodles, cooked (or use no-cook noodles)

Mix and simmer all ingredients for the sauce for 45-60 minutes. Stirring periodically. Mix cheese mixture. Layer in 13x9x2 pan: noodles, chees mixture, mozzarella cheese, meat sauce. Repeat 2 more times. Bake 30 minutes at 375º and let stand 10-15 minutes before serving. If using no-cook noodles follow baking instructions on package.
