1 cup flour
3 eggs
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted
shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour into bowl, set aside. Beat 3 eggs. Add milk to eggs. Add liquid mixture to flour slowly and beat as you go. Mix in melted butter. Pour in very heavily greased mugs. Put mugs directly onto a cook sheet in oven. Bake at 400º-450º until popovers are golden brown.
