1 roasting bag
1 full brisket

Rub:

3 tsp. garlic powder
3 tsp. celery salt
3 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. salt.
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 T. Worcestershire sauce

Sauce:
1 c. beef broth
1 c. Catalina dressing
1 c. BBQ sauce
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl mix all dried spices with Worcestershire. Place Brisket inside roasting bag in large baking dish (15 x 10 x 1). Rub mixture onto both sides of brisket, tie bag, and put slits in top of bag. Cook in preheated 300º oven for six hours. Remove from oven. Save one cup of beef broth from bag and set aside for sauce. Remove brisket from roasting bag and place on cutting board. Using an electric knife to trim fat off brisket. Slice brisket across the grain and place into 3 quart baking dish. Add to brisket beef broth, Catalina dressing, BBQ sauce, and sugar. Cover with oven safe lid or foil and cook another 30 minutes to one hour until sauce is bubbling. Serve with buns or tortillas and red onions if desired.

This recipe became a family favorite in 1998 after having a July 4th neighborhood cookout on Lackland AFB with close friends and decided to try out a recipe we saw in the San Antonio Newspaper.
