1/3 c. Crisco
2 eggs slightly beaten added to 1/3 cup canned milk

Directions:
Mix flour, salt and baking powder together; cut Crisco into flour mixture until small globs form like pie crust. Mix milk and eggs well and stir into flour mixture. Put on floured surface and smooth into ball. Divide into 3 small balls. Roll out each ball on floured surface until it is a thin rectangle. (1/4 inch thick or less.) Cut into strips about an inch wide. Pick up each strip and break off small pieces and drop the pieces into boiling broth. The dumplings float when they are done.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Aunt Cinita sent me this recipe a few years ago. This is the closest thing she has ever found to Grandma Brown's dumplings. I have made them several times, and they met with Dad's approval. These are great in my Chicken & Dumpling recipe.
