1 c. brown sugar
3-4 slices bread
cinnamon
3 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
In double broiler, melt 1 cup of brown sugar. Butter both sides of 3 or 4 slices of bread, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and place on top of brown sugar. Beat 3 eggs, add milk and 1 tsp. vanilla, beat well and pour over bread. Place lid on top of double broiler, bring water to boil in bottom of double boiler and cook over low heat 1 - 1 1/4 hours. Serve warm
