1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together butter, shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and chill 1 hour.
Heat over to 400º. Roll out 1/3 of the dough to 1/8 inch thick on floured surface. Use favorite cookie cutters. Place on parchment paper covered cookie sheets and bake for 6-8 minutes. Cool and frost.
