CAKE LAYER:
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
24 oz. chocolate syrup
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
MINT LAYER:
1 stick butter
2 c. powered sugar (10X)
3 T. green Creme de Menthe
GLAZE:
6 oz. chocolate chips
6 T. butter

CAKE LAYER: Beat eggs and set aside. Beat sugar with butter. Add chocolate syrup, then flour and salt, mix well. Add beaten eggs and mix well, add vanilla. Pour into greased 9"x13" baking dish. Bake at 325º for 45 minutes. Cool completely- chill in refrigerator or freezer.
MINT LAYER: Beat butter, powered sugar, and creme de menthe. Ice cold cake and refrigerate or freeze.
GLAZE: Melt in microwave the choc. chips and butter for 30 seconds. Mix with spoon until chips are melted with the butter. Pour over cold cake. After 1/2 hour in freezer cut into squares. Then freeze. Cake must be refrigerated or frozen. Stores well. It needs little defrosting time to eat.
