½ c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cloves
1 lb. raisins either golden or reg.
1 c. bourbon
1 ½ lb. chopped walnuts
1 lb. each: red and green candied cherries, mixed candied pineapple

1.Mix cherries and pineapple with nuts in a large bowl. Set aside.
2.Soak raisins in bourbon at least 1 hour.
3.Cream shortening, sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beat well.
4. Add flour, soda & spices.
5.Add raisins/bourbon to mix. Batter will be thick and sticky (can add a little water if necessary). 6.Combine fruit/nut mix with batter. Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
7.Bake 325 degrees – 15 min.
